Polski handel zagraniczny roślinami ozdobnymi w latach 1996-2009

Abstract: A long term analysis of foreign trade in ornamental plants over the years 1996-2009 have been done in order to show the influence of Polish accession to the EU on Polish imports and exports. The direction and dynamics of changes, the structure of assortment, the trade balance, as well as changes in import and export prices have been analyzed. It has been found that Polish foreign trade in floricultural products was characterized by a negative trade balance, a faster growth in imports than in exports and a higher level of import prices. However, a positive trade balance has been observed in nursery plants and treated cut flowers as well as foliage. The Polish accession to the EU had no significant effect on imports and exports of ornamental plants in the next years. / Synopsis. W celu oceny wpływu integracji z UE na polski handel zagraniczny roślinami ozdobnymi przeprowadzono analizę zmian w ich eksporcie i imporcie w wieloleciu 1996-2009, w którym wyodrębniono dodatkowo dwa podokresy: przed i po integracji z UE. Analizowano kierunek i dynamikę zmian, strukturę asortymentową, saldo obrotów oraz zmiany i relacje cen importowych i eksportowych. Badania wykazały, iż polski handel zagraniczny produktami kwiaciarskimi charakteryzuje ujemne saldo obrotów, szybszy wzrost importu niż eksportu oraz wyższy poziom cen importowych. Dodatnie saldo obrotów występuje w handlu roślinami szkółkarskimi oraz preparowanymi kwiatami ciętymi i zielenią ciętą. Przystąpienie Polski do UE nie miało istotnego wpływu na import i eksport w następnych latach.
