Abstract: The processes of economic globalization and liberalization of international trade cause an exposure of the agricultural producers activities to increasing risk, including that related to price volatility. This requires development and implementation of a wider range of risk management instruments. The purpose of the paper is to present the tools mitigating the price risk, such as a coordinated system of production, agricultural insurance or futures market transactions. These tools are exemplified by solutions practiced in selected countries in the world. / Synopsis. Procesy globalizacji gospodarki światowej i liberalizacji handlu międzynarodowego powodują, że działalność producentów rolnych jest narażona na coraz większe ryzyko, w tym ryzyko związane ze zmiennością cen. Wymaga to opracowania i wdrażania coraz szerszej gamy instrumentów zarządzania ryzykiem. Celem publikacji jest zaprezentowanie narzędzi ograniczających ryzyko cenowe, takich jak skoordynowany system produkcji, ubezpieczenia rolne czy transakcje na rynkach terminowych. Opisane zostały przykłady rozwiązań stosowanych w praktyce wybranych krajów na świecie.
