Zmiany w polskim handlu zagranicznym roślinami ozdobnymi w latach 2005-2012

Abstract: The aim of the study was to analyse the changes in the Polish foreign trade of ornamental plants since 2005, after a full year of membership in the EU. The direction and dynamics of changes in export and import, the structure of assortment and trade balance, both in terms of value and quantity, were studied. The changes and relationships between import and export prices were analyzed, as well. Studies have shown a steady increase in turnover, faster in imports in value terms, while exports in quantity terms, with a negative trade balance. Poland is a growing net importer mainly of fresh cut flowers, pot plants and flower bulbs. However the importance of nursery plants increases in import, which are also the basis for Polish exports. Poland sells more and more of them, but at ever lower prices. In the case of other plant groups an increase in export prices is observed, but they are still lower than in imports. / Synopsis. Celem pracy było zbadanie zmian w polskim handlu zagranicznym roślinami ozdobnymi od 2005r., czyli pierwszego pełnego roku członkostwa w UE. Badano kierunek i dynamikę zmian w eksporcie i imporcie, strukturę asortymentową oraz saldo obrotów, zarówno w ujęciu wartościowym, jak i ilościowym. Analizowano także zmiany i relacje cen importowych i eksportowych. Badania wykazały stały wzrost obrotów, szybszy importu w ujęciu wartościowym, zaś eksportu w ilościowym, przy ujemnym bilansie. Polska jest rosnącym importerem netto głównie kwiatów ciętych żywych, doniczkowych i cebul kwiatowych Wzrasta także w imporcie znaczenie roślin szkółkarskich, będących równocześnie podstawą polskiego eksportu. Eksportuje się ich coraz więcej, ale po coraz niższych cenach. W przypadku pozostałych grup roślin odnotowano wyraźny wzrost cen w eksporcie, ale w dalszym ciągu są niższe niż w imporcie.
