Abstract: At the end of 1947, a series of articles dealing with the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations was published in this Review. It is now desirable to bring this information up to date in the light of more recent developments in order that it may be possible to re-assess the work of F.A.O. in relation to the solution of world food problems.
