Factors Affecting Freshmen Retention in the College of Agriculture

Abstract: Institutional data were used to examine retention in Auburn University's College of Agriculture. GPA had a significant effect on retention, as did residency status for tuition. Residency status and GPA interacted so that students with lower GPA were less likely to be retained if they were not in-state residents.
