AS INOVAÇÔES TÉCNICAS NA TRANSIÇÂO AGROECOLÒGICA: O CASO DA ASSOCIAÇÂO DOS AGRICULTORES ECOLOGISTAS DE IPÊ E ANTÔNIO PRADO (AECIA)

Abstract: A questão da constituição de uma estratégia adequada para a promoção da inovação constitui um dos elementos-chave para os atores sociais comprometidos com os processos de transição agroecológica. Embora do ponto de vista propositivo encontrem-se referências relativamente consolidadas, há pouco conhecimento sobre a configuração que assume o sistema de informação e conhecimento local que sustenta a transição agroecológica em experiências concretas. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho propõe-se a investigar esta problemática no âmbito de atuação da Associação de Agricultores Ecologistas de Ipê e Antônio Prado (AECIA), no RS, recorrendo a consulta à documentos e outros estudos, observação participante e entrevistas à agentes de ongs e agricultores. Os resultados apontam que a introdução da agricultura ecológica interfere na esfera das relações sociais, mais especificamente, no arranjo social da produção, fazendo emergir uma configuração nova e originando espaços sociotécnicos específicos para atender as necessidades desses atores, uma vez que o “modelo” da agricultura convencional e os atores que o sustentam, não consegue dar conta das novas demandas.------------------The matter of constitution of an adequate strategy for the promotion of innovation constitutes one of the key-elements for the social actors committed with the agro-ecological transition processes. Although in the purposive point of view there are found relatively consolidated references, there is little understanding about the configuration that assumes the information system and local knowledge that supports the agro-ecological transition in real experiences. In this way, the present work proposes itself to investigate this problem in the scope of the acting of the Ipê and Antônio Prado Ecologist Agriculturists Association (AECIA), in RS, resorting to a consultation of documents and other studies, participant observation and interviews with ONG agents and agriculturists. The results show that the introduction of the ecological agriculture interferes in the sphere of social relations, more specifically, in the social arrangement of the production, doing to emerge a new configuration and originating specific socio-technical spaces for serving the necessities of these actors, since the “model” of conventional agriculture and the actors who support it, are not able to the new demands.
