Abstract: The limited resources for agricultural research and the need for a better knowledge about the ways that technologies change agribusiness competitiveness and its social and natural environment, demand its impacts assessment. The aim of this study was to realize economic, environmental, social and organizational impact assessment of the laying hen Embrapa 051, developed by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company. This project started on 2000.
