Factors Affecting Post-CRP Land Use Intentions in the Northern Plains

Abstract: Post-CRP land use intentions of Conservation Reserve Program contract holders in South Dakota are examined. Results from logistic regression models indicate CRP crop base acres, farm commodity and conservation program provisions, and livestock/hay management are major factors affecting post-CRP land use plans.
