Ekonomika, Journal for Economic Theory and Practice and Social Issues, 2011, vol. 57, issue 2

Abstract: This paper discusses modern methods of macroeconomic units of economic development in Sebia. The analysis presented shonjs that the national production can be determined by the use of three methods: productive, income and differential one. The authors state that all the methods of calculation of macroeconomic units give the same result. The analysis njas done by the use of the most prominent unit of the national calculus system knonjn as gross national product. The authors used it in order to present result of production activities of residual institutional units as a sum of added values njhich are calculated for all the institutional units. Authors also point to the fact that Serbian economy has been of a lanj accumulation, thus njith no investments for a faster economy gronjth (around 15% in 2007), njhich makes macroeconomic balance and stability of Serbian economy in the coming years less certain.
