Abstract:
Business incubators as tools of economic development, especially as the tools for knowledge and technologies transfer, have exploded in Europe in the 90s of the 20th century and that is the reason why we know very little about them and why we have made poor use of them. This paper represents additional contribution to spreading the information and knowledge about the possibilities of business incubators for the the transfer of knowledge and technologies and establishing knowledge based economy. The accomplished partnership formed for the realization of this project, firstly between the faculties in Serbia and then between the faculties and the municipalities and the Ministry of Science – in our conditionthis is a step forward and also a solid basis for successful establishment of business incubators.
