Development of transport logistics in agricultural enterprises of the western regions of Ukraine

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to investigate the state of transport logistics development in agriculture and substantiate proposals for implementation of for organization of transport logistics measures. Research methods. In the research process have been used the calculation and analytical methods of assessment of development of transport logistics in agriculture of the western regions of Ukraine for assessing the state of transport logistics in agricultural enterprises of the aforementioned region. Research results. General principles of development of transport logistics in agricultural enterprises of the western regions of Ukraine have been analyzed. It has been established that agricultural producers in the present crisis have faced with many problems, most of which remain unresolved for a long period due to financial problems. Implementation of latest logistics concepts in small enterprises is impeded by limited financial resources and high costs with long payback period. Today, export-oriented agri-holdings have the most developed transport logistics among agricultural producers in the western regions of Ukraine. Elements of scientific novelty. Transport logistics of agricultural enterprises of the western region of the country has been described. Typical characteristics of transport-logistic processes taking place in animal and crop production of the studied regions have been obtained. It has been proposed an implementation of “environmental” measures, which will have a positive effect in the field of transport logistics in agricultural enterprises of the studied regions. Practical significance. One of the specific features of agricultural production is a need to use various types of vehicles in production process. It is established that distance of internal transportation is directly proportional to an area of agricultural land of an entity. It is not profitable for small-size producers to maintain a car park for agricultural production serving for a long period. The research formulates the main tasks for transport logistics. Tabl.: 4.
