Methodical approach to assessing competitiveness level of agricultural enterprises

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to develop methodical approach and mechanism for assessing competitiveness level of agricultural enterprises. Research methods. In the research process have been used the following scientific methods: monographic for evolution analysis of scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign scholars on problems of using methodological approach and mechanism for assessing competitiveness level of economic entities; abstract and logical for theoretical generalizations and formulation of conclusions; regression analysis. Research results. Methodical approach and mechanism for assessing competitiveness level of agricultural enterprises have been developed. In addition to the material factors, evaluation and management result affects satisfaction of the needs for development of key figures of competitive process. Assessment has been carried out using the competitiveness indicator. Components of the indicator directly affect development of key figures of the competitive process: the competitiveness indicator is used for assessing business development (entrepreneur and employee), and the indicator of competitive sustainability of an enterprise – for consumers and standards’ developers. Elements of scientific novelty. Methodical approach and mechanism for assessing competitiveness level of agricultural enterprises has been improved. Practical significance. Introduction of methodological approach and mechanism for assessing competitiveness level of agribusiness enterprises will contribute to formation of competitive advantages, adoption of effective management decisions, and provision of economic security in the long run.
