Human capital as a factor for economic growth

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to assess trends and develop perspectives for human capital development in the market economy and to strengthen Ukraine's position on the world market. Research methods. In the research process were used the systematic approach and economic and statistical methods (graphical, comparative, averages) for structuring and allocating separate groups of countries that differ in terms of volumes and shares of economic growth and economic conditions. Research results. There were proposed new ways for improvement and development of human capital in the market economy taking into account world tendencies. It is necessary to use human development effectively and invest in human capital, based on the importance for the country and socio-economic development. Elements of scientific novelty. Scientific novelty lies in the further developed regulations of migration processes in the country, and growth of the role of an index of human capital through a mechanism of investment in people, their education and health. New ways for improving the situation around migration processes in the country and growth of Ukraine's investment, innovation and economic attractiveness on the world stage were proposed.. Practical significance. There were improved measures for government control of human capital in a country. Recommendations worked out by the author will give an opportunity to improve a situation around migratory processes, increase a role of Ukraine in innovative, economic, new and social spheres in the world market. The conducted analysis gave an opportunity to monitor an index of human grow taking into account tendencies of selected years and to distinguish Ukraine’s position on to the world stage. Tabl.: 2.
