Ukraine in the system of the global economy: trade aspect

Abstract: The purpose of the article is to identify the tendencies of Ukraine’s foreign trade development under the influence of global economy transformations. Research methods. Consists of the following methods: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction – to substantiate theoretical and methodological bases of international trade phenomenon in globalized business environment studying; historical and economic – to identify the benefits and threats of globalization accordingly to countries differentiation by level of development; synergetic – to reflect the progressive development of globalization process and the nature of its effects on the world and national economies; statistical and economic – to collect and process analytical data concerning dynamics and parameters of the world economic growth and international trade, in particular, to identify the role of Ukraine in international trade flows; scientific abstraction – to summarize research results and formulate conclusions of the study. Research results. Economic nature of globalization is revealed. The tendencies of global economy development through its influence on national economic systems with different level of development are determined. Modern trends of international trade relations development as one of the determining factors of global economy transformation are investigated. Peculiarities of Ukraine's participation in export-import operations are analyzed. Scientific novelty. The research of modern international trade relations with the participation of Ukraine in the conditions of transformations of the system of the global economy was further developed. Practical significance. Research results develop a methodological basis for argumentation of proposals for strengthening Ukraine's position in the system of international trade relations and increase its resilience to current challenges of business environment under globalization.
