Abstract: El presente trabajo consta de dos partes. En la primera se sintetizen las tendencias de la evolucion de la agricultura en los ultimos quinquenios, articulandose esta como el primer eslabon dentro de la dinamica del sistema agroalimentario. En la segunda parte, despues de algunas consideracioens sobre los limites de la categoria de mercado de trabajo rural, se analizan las tendencias dominantes en la actividad y las condiciones laborales en las zonas rurales, para terminar el trabajo con el planteamiento de algunas propuestas politicas...The present work consists of two parts. In the first one the tendencies of the evolution of agriculture in the last few decades are synthesized, articulating this one as the first link within the dynamics of the agro-alimentary system. In the second part, after some considerations on the limits of the rural labour market category, the dominant tendencies in the activity and the working conditions in the rural areas are analysed, ending this work with the exposition of some political proposals.
