M. Truman Fossum
No 310113, Marketing Research Reports from United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Marketing Service, Transportation and Marketing Program
Abstract:
Excerpt from the report Introduction: The purpose of this report and of the research it summarizes is to provide detailed data for commercial growers of floricultural crops by size of establishment and by crop specialization. All of the data were obtained by special tabulations from Bureau of the Census figures. This report is confined to summary data for the United States. To the extent that rules of disclosure permit, comparable information by States and geographic divisions is available. Examples of this kind of information are reports and related tabular data, which have been presented before meetings of gladiolus, carnation, and potted plant growers.
