Abstract:
Excerpts from the report: A primary concern of the wholesale frozen food distributor is to increase the productivity of his handling system. Through the cooperation of several typical distributors of wholesale frozen foods, three improved systems of handling frozen foods were developed and tested. The improved systems evaluated in this report are the results of research and development work in selected pilot plants, and represent a few of the improved methods currently used in assembling frozen food orders and in handling frozen foods in distribution plants.
