Abstract:
Excerpt from the report Preface: This report is based on information obtained in a national mail survey of retail florists conducted during 1964. It was undertaken by the Market Development Branch of the Economic Research Service as part of a broad program of research designed to provide information about current marketing practices in the floral industry and to develop techniques to expand markets for floral products. This research was undertaken as a result of the cooperative agreement between the Florist Transworld Delivery Association (FTDA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
