Trends in Selected Facilities Available to Farm Families

Grace L. Flagg and T. Wilson Longmore

No 308698, Agricultural Information Bulletins from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: This publication is intended to be useful to those who are actively concerned with the welfare of farm families in the United States. The materials should be of value to extension workers and other adult educators, agency representatives, agricultural economists, rural sociologists, home economists, and farm people in general. Although this report includes items which measure in an indirect way the levels of living of farm families, trends in these items do reflect the choices and preferences among farm families with social and economic conditions, especially income levels, such as they were during the period covered.
