C. S. Britt

No 309020, Agricultural Information Bulletins from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: Excerpt from the report: As a guide to the development of better soil management practices, this bulletin reviews reports on the effects of different cultivation methods, use of cover crops, sod, and mulches, and erosion control on tree growth and yields of peaches in the East. Fertilizer practices are not given, as growers should follow the recommendations of State agricultural experiment stations for different localities.
