No 309162, Agricultural Information Bulletins from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service
Abstract:
Excerpt from the report: This bulletin on grasshoppers is intended to help county agricultural agents, entomologists, and other agricultural leaders. It presents in everyday language the more important facts about grasshoppers. It describes the damage they do; it tells what different species look like, how they develop, and where and how they live; and it explains how outbreaks occur. This information can be useful in controlling the pests.
