Abstract:
Excerpts from the report Foreword: This booklet offers guidelines on how to care for trees to keep them healthy and to protect them from wounds. It also prescribes ways to prevent, recognize, and minimize damage by decay that most often sets in after tree wounding. Rx FOR WOUNDED TREES is part of a USDA Forest Service program designed to provide information on the wise use and care of trees. . . some of our most versatile and renewable natural resources.
