No 309569, Agricultural Information Bulletins from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: This report presents the latest information on the financial performance of U.S. farms. The findings summarize the upcoming Financial Characteristics of U.S. Farms, January 1, 1990. Data were obtained from the Farm Costs and Returns Survey (FCRS) conducted in February and March 1990 by USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. About 24,000 farmers across the Nation participated in the survey, which detailed whole-farm data for all survey respondents plus enterprise-specific data for selected commodities.
