Midsized Farms in 1987

Nora L. Brooks

No 309660, Agricultural Information Bulletins from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: Much has been written about both very large and very small farms, but little has appeared about small- and moderate-sized commercial farms. The number and proportion of these farms have declined over time, but they are not disappearing. These midsized farms are still an important part of American agriculture.
