Monthly Timing of SNAP Spending Less Smooth for Some Households

Abstract: A recent study found that 38 percent of SNAP households spent an average of 67 percent of their SNAP benefits within 4 days of receiving them; the remaining households spent 18 percent of their benefits during this time period.
