Abstract:
Over the past decade, Colombia has distinguished itself as a fast-growing market for U.S. agricultural products. Between 2009-11 and 201-20, the 3-year, annual average of U.S. agricultural exports to Colombia grew at a compound annual rate of 13.1 percent (not adjusted for inflation), compared with 2.0 percent for U.S. agricultural exports to all other countries, according to U.S. trade statistics collected by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census, and compiled by USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service in its Global Agricultural Trade System.
