Abstract:
Excerpts from the report Preface: This statistical supplement was prepared to aid public and private groups and individuals interested in stimulating economic growth in the Lake States--Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin. Its main purpose is to bring together a broad array of social and economic data from many sources to provide a basic handbook of county, substate, and State data. Those interested in a summary and analysis of the Region are referred to An Economic Survey of the Northern Lake States Region, by R. Loomis and M. Wirth (Agr. Econ. Rpt. 108, U.S. Dept. Agr., Feb. 1967).
