Abstract: The study reported in the following paper was based on a survey conducted by the Institute of Statistics, North Carolina State College. The survey was designed to assist the Livestock and Poultry Statistics Branch, of the Agricultural Estimates Division to isolate factors that may account for total disposition in their national balance sheet for hogs.
