Journal of Agricultural Economics Research, 1978, vol. 30, issue 4, 7
Abstract:
Prior information derived from previous research, commodity specialists, market institutions, and introspection was used to estimate margin equations for selected fresh vegetables through the mixed estimation technique. Use of this information increased the precision of parameter estimates. Behavioral implications of the statistical results are examined.
