Abstract:
Excerpt from the report: Agricultural exports under Government-financed programs amounted to $1.06 billion or 14 percent of record U.S. farm-product exports in 1970/71. Program shipments, as a share of total U.S. farm exports, reached the lowest rate since the beginning of the P.L. 480 program in 1954. Dollar volume rose slightly, as a $43 million increase in Mutual Security (AID) shipments more than offset a $16 million decline in P.L. 480 exports.
