Abstract:
Excerpt from the Preface: Agriculture and the rural community have played an important and significant part in the history of practically all nations, both past and present. The United States is no exception, and the number of articles devoted to factual as well as philosophical discussions of the place of agriculture in the life of the Nation is legion. It is believed, however, that the references here cited are representative.
