Abstract:
This Appendix of Tables describes the characteristics of 58 recreation subdivisions and 328 sample lot owners in Chaffee, Custer, Fremont, Huerfano, Lake, Las Animas, and Pueblo Counties, in Colorado between 1967 and 1972. The main emphasis is on the mail survey of lot owners. The survey indicated that inmigration and housing construction has been low. While planned inmigration will continue to be slow (16 percent), planned housing construction is expected to be high (58 percent in 5 years). About 41 percent visited their properties in 1973, each staying an average of three weeks with expenditures of $362 per owner.
