Abstract:
Excerpt from the Foreword: The study on which this report is based was undertaken at the request of the United States Hop Growers Association. Increased wartime production and new plantings seemed to indicate a probable postwar increase in hop production under conditions of a decreasing market demand. An appraisal of this situation, in the light of all available information, was desired.
