Weather in U.S. Agricultural: Monthly Temperature and Precipitation by State and Farm Production Region, 1950-84

Abstract: Monthly temperature and precipitation by State and farm production region are presented for the years 1950-84. A weighted-average process is used to aggregate across the climatic divisions within the 48 contiguous States. Two sets of aggregation weights are used: geographic areas and areas of harvested cropland.
