Richard Nolan

No 277902, Staff Reports from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service

Abstract: This report shows the regional effects of foreign competition on U.S. manufacturing employment from 1975 to 1982. It defines 66 industries which the Department of Labor has identified as being import-sensitive. It then analyzes the employment changes in these industries according to their metropolitan status within States.
