Abstract: C-This publication is a collection of 34 reports highlighting 1988 data compiled from the annual Farm Costs and Returns Survey (FCRS). The State and regional level reports focus on financial characteristics of farms and farm operators from survey results. A farm's economic status is evaluated using the net cash income position and the ratio of debts to assets relationship. Regional production expenditures are compared by farm type. A brief discussion of farm characteristics by region are also presented.
