No 289196, Staff Reports from United States Department of Agriculture, Economic Research Service
Abstract:
Cross-classification tables linking rural landownership patterns with land use, land quality, and potential cropland are presented. Data for this analysis were obtained from a merger of the 1977 National Resource Inventories (NRI) conducted by the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) and the 1978 Landownership Survey (LOS) conducted by the Natural Resource Economics Division (NRED), Economic Research Service (ERS), USDA.
