Evaluation of the USDA Soybean Germplasm Collection: Maturity Groups 000 to IV (PI 273.483 to PI 427.107)

Abstract:
This report contains data on the origin, descriptive characteristics, agronomic performance, seed composition, and disease reaction. of over 2,800 accessions from the USDA Soybean Germplasm Collection in maturity groups 000 to IV. These accessions were introduced :into the United States from 1961 to 1978. Publicly released cultivars from the United States and Canada during this same period were also tested. A maximum of 40 categories of data is presented for each entry . These accessions were evaluated in four tests based on maturity, with each maturity group grown in a latitude to which it was adapted.
