Effects of Cattle Grazing Methods on Ponderosa Pine-Bunchgrass Range in the Pacific Northwest

Abstract: An 11-year study of plant and animal responses to systems and levels of cattle grazing showed forested range was improved by deferred rotation: there was little change on intermingled grassland openings. Big game use decreased as cattle stocking increased.
