Abstract:
This paper is a companion to University of Kentucky Staff Paper 474, and consists of a series of color slides focusing on the typology of communities of various sizes, both rural and urban. It is a newly revised version of a set of slides originally presented at a rural development conference sponsored by the Southern Rural Development Center in 2004 at Tampa, Florida.
