Abstract:
The purpose of this report is two-fold: (1) to provide current estimates of the recreational activities, or uses in the newly-established Voyageurs National Park that are dependent upon Crane Lake as a means of access or source of supplies, (2) to examine Crane Lake as an operating community in relationship to its physical resource base, its service to the larger society, and to the public services and agencies with which it must interact.
