Abstract: This workshop brought together top authorities from the fields of futures forecasting and renewable natural resources to help the USDA improve long-range planning and programming. Participants identified an array of factors and trends believed to have potentially significant impacts on renewable natural resources, assessed such impacts, and took the first steps toward developing scenarios on the long-range future of these resources.
