Abstract: Report Introduction: This summary of irrigation-district statutes has been prepared in connection with a project involving the revision of Department Bulletin 1177, Irrigation District Operation and Finance, in which the analysis and presentation of data regarding the actual operation of irrigation districts in the Western States will be brought down to December 31, 1928. The summary of district laws as presented in the following pages has been completed in cooperation with the California State Department of Public Works.
