Abstract: This dictionary is designed to be a practical and up-to-date reference for those involved in international trade of agricultural products. The terms cover a wide variety of subject areas in this field such as commodities, policy, export programs, finance, documentation, transportation, and storage, as well as domestic and foreign agricultural programs. The dictionary includes brief descriptions of most agricultural commodities of importance to U.S. trade. Appendices covering U.S. commodity marketing years, units of measure, and commodity conversion factors are provided.
