Irrigation: A Selected Bibliography
Dorothy W. Graf
No 333560, USDA Miscellaneous from United States Department of Agriculture
Abstract:
Excerpts from the report: We have been accustomed to think of irrigation as a problem affecting only our western states, but recent technical developments and a succession of drouth years, have made the entire nation irrigation conscious. This bibliography has been prepared with the hope that it will be of service in working out the complex irrigation problems which still await solution in all sections of the country. The material is arranged by subject; with an author index to simplify in its use. Also many articles have been abstracted. The bibliography has been compiled from the catalogues in the Department of Agriculture and Library of Congress, supplemented by material from the Engineering index, the Agricultural index, and the Industrial arts index. It includes references to books, periodicals and publications of societies through 1937.
