E. J. Niederfrank

No 352075, USDA Miscellaneous from United States Department of Agriculture

Abstract: Excerpts from the Foreword: Happy and good living is as important as good and profitable farming. Such living is derived from good incomes and the wise use of money and time for obtaining and enjoying home conveniences, community life, local services, happy home and community relations, successful group activities, and regard for spiritual values. Health is a basic factor to success. Recreation for relaxation and personal development are important especially under changing conditions of farm and town life. Community teamwork and effective group techniques whereby the people face their own problems are vitally important today. This leaflet gives a brief description of current programs in important phases of extension work that aim to contribute to happy and good living and to helping people achieve it themselves,
