Cotton – Review of Commodity Credit Corporation Programs, 1933-1954

Abstract: The net result of all of the cotton programs financed with capital funds of the Commodity Credit Corporation from 1933 through December 31, 1954 except cotton linters, was a profit of $231 million dollars. The following narrative summary and the attached statistical tables provide a review of the cotton operations of Commodity Credit Corporation which resulted in this profit.
