Abstract:
This catalog describes the over 1,000 tobacco introductions (Nicotiana tabacum L.) in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s tobacco germplasm collection. Seed from the collection are available in limited quantities for research and breeding. The description includes plant origin, native designation, plant type, how leaves are attached, flower color, time to flower, angle of leaf to stem, leaf width and length, number of leaves per plant, number of suckers per plant (pretopped and posttopped), plant height, and plant yield.
