No 386124, USDA Miscellaneous from United States Department of Agriculture
Abstract:
The purpose of this problem analysis is to portray the facts, statistical and otherwise, as they pertain to grazing lands and the range livestock industry in the Southwest (Arizona, New Mexico, Western Texas, and the Oklahoma Panhandle) and to briefly discuss the problems relating to the grazing use of these lands. The analysis is also intended to present briefly the past, present, and future, range research required to aid livestockmen and range administrators in meeting increasing problems, particularly those relating to grazing management. Such an analysis is both timely and essential for an effective attack on our range research problems.
