Research developments in public law and administrative sciences in Romania

Abstract: Editorial opening the first issue of the Academic Journal of Law and Governance, which surveys recent developments in Romanian research on public law and administrative sciences. It presents the national research project "The Right to a Good Administration and its Impact on Public Administration Procedures" (grant ID 698, started in October 2007), the founding and objectives of the Romanian Academic Society of Administrative Sciences, and the series of annual conferences held between 2008 and 2012 together with the scientific publications that resulted from them.
